As a personal endeavor to treasure one of the most famed video game classics that allowed Mario to enter our world, artist Shigeru Miyamoto has devised his very own Donkey Kong Wall made up of a combination of carbon fiber, stainless steel, and aluminum pieces that depict the classic opening board form the 1981 video game. Trust me, this wall is sturdy, and I don’t think it will be gracing the pages of an IKEA catalog anytime soon. I can also bet his phone won’t stop ringing from all those fueled up denizens of nerdom wanting a piece of the action, but, to me, no Donkey Kong wall is complete without Mario and Kong in the mix, so I’m pretty sure you can find some vintage Nintendo figures on E-Bay somewhere.
