If you are a closeted old skool original Trekkie like myself, this Star Trek USS Enterprise ($499) from Palymobil would probably be the most interesting sci-fi side piece that will give Lego a run for the $$$$. Expensive it is, but it’s got lights and sounds, and you can control the effects and sounds with a tablet or a phone. It even comes with some Tribbles.
