This is a wearable Star Trek Communicator Badge ($79) that will beam down to Think Geek in November.  Now all we need is a Starfleet ship, warp thrusters, transporter beam technology, dilithium crystals, and the future will be complete.  But as far as the badge goes, it works just like the one on the show.
