  1. Saw this, had to share since my memory of Star Wars was pretty intense, due to its unusual circumstances.
    Sitting in a movie theater in Pre-Giuliani Post-Koch Times Square as a little kid with my family. I was psyched and excited to see the movie, when suddenly they announced they would not be showing the film and that we would have to evacuate the theater immediately. The date: July 13th, 1977….yes. I’ll spare you the major details but suffice to say that being in the middle of Times Square, with no electricity, windows breaking from looters, running like a psycho to find your family car to get the hell back to Brooklyn with a serial killer on the loose was fuckn insane. Those were the days…😭
