Looks like Ikea got beat to the punch by a cool little company called Cyloc, and one of their space saving designs, the Cyloc Endo bike hanging system ($60), which is nothing more than a durable colorful plastic hook and a wheel tray.  It even has a little hollow area for your Kryptonite Lock.  A very simple little design that goes a long way for space.
