In case you didn’t know, the street party is being held at King St. Manhattan, home of the legendary Paradise Garage nightclub, which he made famous.  Some of his affiliate old-fart DJs from back in his heyday will be manning the wheels and playing some amazing classics as we all pay homage to one of the most influential and radically different DJs of all time.  An important day for dance music!

Please leave your glow sticks at home, and don’t expect to see any David Guetta or DJ Tiesto type DJs.

The event will also celebrate the naming of Larry Levan Way, formerly known as King Street.
