Director Michel Gondry’s visions of Noam Chomsky

Screen Shot 2013-12-12 at 10.15.28 PMYes, he’s looked a bit scruffier since he gave us Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind and Be Kind Rewind.  And with some iconic music videos and shorts under his belt, it is clear that director and artist Michele Gondry loves to fool around with dimensional space and time.  His latest endeavor is a film project called “Is The Tall Man Who is Tall Happy?”, and it is essentially his creative vision of the ideals and principles of Noam Chomsky interpreted through his wild and wacky film making style.  In case you’ve never heard of Chomsky,  he is considered to be the “father of modern linguistics” or the uber-philosophical genius of our time.  Here’s a sample making-of video of what’s to come from the mad Frenchman.
