Up and coming in the horizon is the Nintendo 2DS ($129), which is a tablet style gaming system that will play all 3DS games and, of course, regular DS games, but a tablet IT IS NOT.  I cannot understand why they opted for 2 small screens rather than one big screen that can take advantage of watching movies or surfing the net, or most of all, double as an educational tool to take strides against turning kids into gamer junkies.  The only attractive thing about this unit is the price, but the tablet market is getting more and more competitive, and the prices are shifting downward.

In the wake of some disastrous WiiU sales, I was hoping Nintendo would bounce back much better than this.  Oh well… nice try Nintendo…
