Numark has officially taken a popular street headphone mod and made it official by dubbing it the Redphone ($70).   The traditional bicycle grip design made popular with deep house DJs with the popular Sony headphone is being touted as a follow up and upgrade to their Red Wave design.  I like this headphone, but it really has no space for the controllerist or midi controller DJ.  Their is no way in hell I will have any hand available to hold a stick while mixing.  This design is too little and too late in my book, but if you still want a taste of the old, you might want the original mod by Mario Giannotte, whose custom creations are always spotted on E-Bay or Facebook.
