Password protected credit cards

Meet the new Display Card currently available through Mastercard.  It is being marketed and used in Singapore, but it won’t be long for the rest of the world to catch the wave.  Aside from boasting a smart chip, it has a numerical keyboard that allows the cardholder to enter their pin number for every transaction, and the card will display the approval code on the top right display.  I still have no clue on its power source, but I would hate to have a power failure on the card during an emergency, but I’m pretty sure they’ve explored that possibility.  Next time you go to the club, be the man of the hour, buy rounds, get shitfaced, and be in the mood to splurge, you won’t get frightened when your card is gone the next morning, but just don’t get too drunk and forget your pin code!
