Adam Yauch is one third of the most crossover punk/hip-hop trio to change the face of Def Jam Recordings, The Beastie Boys.  I am happy he got to witness their induction into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame.  Sadly, he could not attend, and it is pretty damn clear he had a difficult issue to contend with.  Rest in Peace, and thanks for some of the most invigorating visceral music of our time.  You will always live on in the five boroughs!
