This had me fooled too!  An artist named Alexa Meade has taken the acrylic paint medium and flipped it on a three dimensional platform as an experiment in photography.  There are no camera tricks or Photoshop magic involved here, other than a regular SLR camera.  If you look closely at her hairline at the base of her scalp, you can see that it’s a model covered in body paint made to look like an acrylic/oil painting.   Amazing!!!!
