No chain eh?…  This new design from a Michigan based firm, jruiter + studio is supposed to minimalize, as the name suggests, biking in the city by eliminating some of the traditional centralized components like gears and a chain.  The plus’ on the new design are tighter turns and more power in the rear, but it is not recommended for long distances.  I have to admit, it is a break from the norm and seems like a new concept for space saving design.
