I know there have already been some audio-converting software on the market, but the people over at Bias have finally leaped forward and leveled the playing field with their latest creation: SoundSaver ($40). Bias is famous for some professional audio editing applications, so they have put together a very intuitive Apple-friendly style approach to performing your own vinyl to Mp3 conversion with the flip of a switch. You will still need a sound card or a usb turntable to allow for the software to sense the analog activity coming from your old record collection, but once you’re up, trust me when I say EASY! The program automatically removes those annoying pops and clicks with the turn of a knob.
