These babies are sick, but in case some of you don’t know, they are miniature replicas of some legendary drum & sampling machines that have helped pioneer hip hop & dance music (techno/house etc.)  Available at Alkotabeats.com, they come in three flavors: Akai MPC-2000, Roland TR-808 and E-Mu’s SP-1200.  All priced in at $39.99 each.  The only downer is that it is only available in 8gb, which in today’s digital empire doesn’t add up to a hefty file sharing session.
