Before DVD’s and digital downloads and most probably home video, we all were extremely thirsty for sci-fi on TV.  With the exception of Star Trek, The Twilight Zone, Outer Limits and Space 1999, there was Battlestar Galactica.  And every good sci-fi escapade had memorable villains, and along came an army of bad guys called Cylons.  With their deep voice and bulky prowl, this robotic race of warriors created by a reptilian race to exterminate humans managed to steal the show every week.  Though the original series only aired for 2 seasons, it was remade in 2004 to critical acclaim.

Anyway… the Mattel action figure still sends chills down my spine
